Looking around some of the lesser quality forums Wink there is a lot of openly expressive dislike for the Prologue.

I just don't get it. Comparing specs is one thing but trashing a synth based on what it hasn't got instead of what it has got is just a general negative attitude.

Rev 2 has this and that, then buy a Rev 2. No after touch, well don't buy it if that is so important, it's your money.
It's as if prologue admirers are just amateur dim wits, that have only ever owned toys.

I for one, think it sounds great and rarely does anything sound worse, live than when hearing the demos on Youtube.

I don't want 4 LFO's, I don't want a zillion options of modulation, I can live without aftertouch and I like the sound. I have a Kronos and I know I will be able to make some great music blending the two.

Oh and Korg know their audience. I am a fully signed up Dim Wit. Rolling Eyes Very Happy

Ignore the popular opinion of the unwashed masses and go with what is right for you! Smile

The Prologue sounded great in the online demos, as do the DSI instruments. If you are happy with your purchase or prospective purchase then life is good. Smile

I think we are living in a golden age right now. We have some great hardware synths, but also some awesome software ones as well. I have taken steps to blend the best of both and am very happy with a combined rig of Kronos, Montage and a brick sized PC running every VTSi that I have. Doubtless some anorak out there will tell me that this setup sucks. I don’t care. Wink
