Does anyone know why my PA4x arbitrarily changes volume on Upper instruments 1,2,3 during Style Play. This happens when Im playing live and the volume drops significantly.
Running OS 2.0.1 |

Hi Tony
Can't help you with that as it has never happened on my PA4X - does it happen with factory styles?

Hi Pete, yes I believe so. My typical approach is to copy/paste a factory style to a new user location and make changes to some of the instruments, etc. Then select the new user location during live performance. While playing the PA4x and viewing the volume page on the screen for the upper 3/lower 1, I can actually see the sliders flickering and occasionally drop in volume. To compensate during a volume drop incident, I use the physical sliders on the board to raise the volume back up. |

That is not too good Tony - firstly I would perform a complete re-install of the latest OS - maybe be a little paranoid and re-download it too.
At least start with eliminating that.
If the problem persists and you can easily demonstrate it, I would get the keyboard to your local service guys.
Hopefully you are still within the warranty period.
Let me know how you go
Cheers
Pete
P.S. (sorry stating the obvious here...) please make sure you back up everything first. _________________ PA4X-76, Karma, WaveDrum GE, Fantom 8 EX
