Hi all,
So i received my (black) Electribe Sampler yesterday. Pleasantly surprised by the build quality and the feeling of the rotaries. I knew the top row middle pads would be somewhat flushed with the casing, which is the case, but it's not as bad as I thought.
But this brings me to a question:
I'm used to Ableton Push 1 and 2 drumpads, and earlier MPC pads. I have a light touch, but it seems the Korg pads are not really designed for "finger drumming" but act more as switches?
I mean it's really hard to get quick "repeats" from them, because the light touch doesn't always register correctly due to the "Switch behaviour" and slamming hard doesn't enable you to do quick repeats because of the force you have to use.
I couldn't find any sensitivity setting either, only different velocity curves, which are in "light" anyway.
Does anybody recognise this, is it (much) improved in the newer series pads? tnx!
