I'm not sure what you want to achieve, but yes you can turn off local MIDI. The Kronos will then continue to respond to incoming data at its MIDI IN. Also, the Kronos keyboard will then transmit at the MIDI OUT but without generating internal sounds (unless looped back externally).

Thanks in advance for your kindness.

No I want to send midi out only to the channel that I choose with a combi.
At this moment the kronos, when I set a channel extern in one combi send always 2 midi signal. The midi global and the midi ext. I' d like, if it' s possible, to choose sending only midi from ext.

Luigi.

The Kronos always transmits MIDI on the Global channel. That's why I set the Global channel to 16 and just work with the lower channels when using with a DAW. This goes back to the Triton.

Yes I Know this thing.
It is very annoing. For example when I write a score with Sibelius I have to work only with midi global out. If I choose a extern track and aa other midi channel, for example ch1, Sibelius will detect 2 midi input a will write 2 note.

For a future update and for more possibilities using live 2 or more keyboards connected in midi will be fantastic if korg add a midi layer like audio in. I could check "global midi" if I want use global midi settings, or uncheck if a want create a midi custom combination.
