Is your USB stick created on a Mac? _________________ PA4X-76, Karma, WaveDrum GE, Fantom 8 EX

You probably are seeing the "._" files that get created
I always clean up any disk/USB/SDcard that I use in the Mac - it's irritating but nothing that can be done.

I have experienced the same thing while using USB Flash Drive between iMac and Pa4X and files/folders are created with "._"
As Pete mentioned I delete them all to save room on my Flash Drive.
Annoying and useless but couldn't find any radical and efficient solution except deleting them manually. |

There is a Mac supplied program to help you with this:-
"dot_clean" (it's physically here /usr/sbin/dot_clean )
If you open a terminal session and enter "man dot_clean" you will see the instructions on how to use it.
I use this a lot!!!
Cheers

Pete | Thanks Pete.
I've never used the Terminal and do not know how to use it, too complicated for me.
Actually I did what you mentioned in Terminal and got some info but I didn't understand how to use it.
That's ok, in the future I do clean these files/folders manually as I did so far. |
