I've been struggling with what seems to be common areas of confusion for new Kronos owners — file management, loading new sounds without erasing others, the usual. Despite having read the manual and watched several videos, I was still having a tough time with it.

Finally, I decided to buy some consulting time with Dave Champagne (I think his username is Engima or EnigmaHack, something like that, and I know that he's a very familiar name on this forum) .... and man, Dave clarified it all for me — in less than an hour. What a HUGE help!

I know this sounds like a paid infomercial or something, but for real, if anyone is having difficulties understanding the way Kronos works, reach out to Dave. He explains things in a clear, concise way that made an otherwise bewildering topic perfectly understandable for me. (He's a killer sound designer too, although that's not what I personally needed help with.)

Yeah man, Dave is awesome. He does his research for sure. Probably the only other person I know who uses sealed box speakers (speakers w/o a port hole). I admire his dedication to sound design and I think every Kronos user should strive to learn the ins-and-outs of the keyboard the way he has.

+1 on that. Dave managed to nail some sounds I was trying to get, that I was having difficulty with, I do program myself to a reasonable level (but not an expert), but it needed somebody with a very good ear and knowledge of synths to figure out what was going on
