|

This is for a live situation. I've got main L/R going out to the FOH, and Audio OUT 1 dedicated to the left hand bass. I'm hoping there's a way to send a basic click track to Audio OUT 2 while in COMBI mode. Any suggestions? |

I'm using the Drum Track for this. I use the Metronome Pattern (417 on my machine), route it to Midi Channel 16. On the mixer page i choose "Misc. Percussion" as program for timbre 16. On the IFX routing you can disable the "Drums" checkbox for timbre 16 and then route it to the output that you want to.
I usually don't have any tempo changes. But if you need that you could still pre-record your click track, load it as user sample/convert to a program and fire it with a key or pad.
Perhaps there's a possibility to change the tempo on the fly by using karma, but as I said: i don't need tempo changes, so the last two suggestions are untested
EDIT: this also only works if you don't change combination during song... the drum track will stop if you switch to another combi. I have two other keyboards connected to my Kronos, so i usually can split and layer all my sounds, so that i don't have to switch combi's during a song. keep that in mind, if you want to try that. |

This gives me an idea. Since the drummer is wearing in ears, I can just play each song beforehand so he can get not only the tempo but also the rhythm. Thx. |
