Hi All
If I update my PA3x firmware, will it delete my songbook entries? If so, how exactly do I go about saving these to be re-instated on the new upgrade?
Many thanks |

Latest Operating System (v1.63) and Factory Reset are available from
http://www.korg.com/us/news/2014/0515/
You would not normally use the Factory Reset file - only if you are having problems with your keyboard.
Follow the instructions included with the files from the pdf's.
To make sure you do not lose anything perform a Save All as follows.
Insert a Flash Drive, Media button, Save Tab, select All, Save To, change HD arrow to USB, New Set, touch T and give it a new name (e.g. All2018-04-17), OK, OK. Make sure everything is ticked, OK, Yes.
If you also have midi files and mp3's you need to separately COPY these to a USB drive making careful note of the name of the folder and sub-folders they are in (or just copy the whole folder is best). The Songbook will only work if the folder structure is the same.
You can always restore just part of what you have saved (e.g. just Songbook) rather than loading the lot by choosing Open, Open etc after you choose to load your saved set.
I am fairly certain that an Operating System Upgrade will not harm your Songbook entries but a Reset probably will. _________________ Free SoundFonts: https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/
