Are there any Combis/Programs that intelligently assign trumpets to the top voice, saxes to the middle and bones on the bottom? I’m looking for a Chicago horn section sound. |

Another thing you could do is to use the keyboard range of the combi, under "Midi Filter/Zones" and simply assign the sections you want to the various ranges, and then set the fade ranges. That way, you avoid having the hard cut-off points at given keys and instead have smooth transitions from one timbre to the other.
