Hi Sam how you doing ?
I don’t have any stand that suits the pa4x . I have my old 1x stand and a stand for my Yamaha stage piano but of course they are not appropriate . So it’s very difficult to sight read music whilst playing my arranger . |

60 pounds... I think That is waaay too expensive for this simple piece of gear.
Half the price would be reasonable. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

I'd do what Worth says upthread. A 1/8" sheet of Perspex cut to size, add a simple shelf, and voila, you just saved yourself a few bob. _________________ When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Some of those stands have auxiliary extensions (music holder in this case) that you can attach to the stand so that may be a cheaper alternative. If not, then I'm sure you can come up with a DIY holder. Some of those lead sheet books can be quiet heavy though... _________________ Sam

Try making one from scratch, buying all the material and welding equipment, and putting in the time and labor, then tell me 60 pounds is too much. I've made many a stand and by the time one gets the metal (a stand is not make out of plastic), and all the miscellaneous hardware and welding supplies (not even talking about the expense of the tools to do the job) 60 pounds is cheap. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |

We don’t have to do any of those things . A little ingenuity can produce a reasonable substitute stand at a fraction of the cost . £60 is extortionate and it’s made by machine , not hand made . Anyway we dont need to knock heads on this .
The keyboard itself is amazing and does far more to unify us than separate us 👍🏿 |

I, too, purchased a piece of 1/8 in plastic, larger than the original and cut it larger than the original, especially the width. I removed the original music rest and attached a length of double sided tape to the back of the music rest to hold it in place on the new music stand then drilled the two holes for the mounting screws from the original music rest. It's held up for many gigs over the past 3 years or so. |

I made one from a piece of thick hardboard, easy to work. I painted mine and it looks fine, unless you do want it clear I guess. They sell sheet perspex in my local Wickes if you want to go that route, tricky to cut though. |
