|

I wonder if this button which exists in Pa600, Pa900 & 3X is no longer exists in the new Pa series. This button enables the style change when switching between different keyboard sets (which is called performance in the previous generation).
Is there any way to enable this function now? Thanks. |

NO there is not. I have often complained about this aspect to our Dutch Korg representative and he will raise the matter with Korg Italy/Europe.
Whereas in the past you could save your "total registrations " (Performances) under the soundbank buttons ( now Keyboard Sets) with the aid of this famous Style Change button, on all the new series you can only save them in Songbook.
As has been pointed out by many, among others knowledgable people such as Siebenhirter this means that something has been removed from all other previous series ( from PA1X to PA3X and their scaled downs versions) that is very valuable to many musicians , in particular home musicians. So far Korg has lent a deaf ear to this. Hopefully they will re-introduce the STYLE CHANGE button function so that once again we will also be able to store our full registrations under the keyboard set buttons again, which was ever so handy for many reasons.
It is not a bug so can not be listed at such. It is simply a very UNWISE move from Korg and all those loyal Korg users have been kind of let down by doing away with this valuable option. Technically it should not be all that complicated to re-introduce this option on the current range, so hopefully there will be many responses here to suppport such a move from Korg.
regards
