Can't seem to find this info in the manual.
Will 650mA be enough to power it? Or do I need more? |

The Monologue specified power consumption is 2.5W from a 9V supply, which equates to a current of approximately 275mA. This doesn't tie in exactly with the projected battery life of alkaline and NiMH batteries, but 650mA should be suffficient. |

I've noticed that there is nowhere to find a lot of the Korg instrument amperage requirements. I want to buy a multi-head adaptor for my Volca's, KP3+ and a couple of other 9v devices, but if they all run on 500ma, there's no point in getting a 6 head adaptor as the Korg KA350 only pumps out 1700ma (according to a retailer who had it's amperage listed but no other Korg gear amperage requirements). Guess I could get a nice and stupidly powerful 9v 3amp psu then sell the KA350's I have (they go for about $50aud brand new here, a 9v PSU @ 3000ma from Jaycar (cat#MP3496) goes for $30 minus 5 cents https://www.jaycar.com.au/switchmode-plugpack-9vdc-3a-7-plug/p/MP3496). _________________ Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here |

Cool, Hornsby too, easy to get to and avoid overpriced shipping. Just hope the image is for descriptive purposes only as it's a USA pin configuration and isn't one of those ones that come with 5 different attachments for international use. Telephones are great for solving such mysteries though _________________ Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here |
