Instrument Definition File for PA600

Post by sridharar »

I searched but did not find any post related to this.

Can anyone point to or share an .ins file for PA600? for use with DAWs.

Even a base file, or one from the PA family which is close, which I can then build on would be great.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sri,

I have made one myself for my PA300 and it works very well in Cubase Elements, I cannot post files on the forum so you can download here.
Bye bye

Redair

Thanks very much both from me as well as on behalf of others who will be able leverage this.

I can use this as a base for PA600.
I am also going to try extracting the info from the pdf manual and transform it to the format, I can see in your file.

A few updates:

Part 1:

I found some .ins from Sonar Music website.
It looks pretty good. Though I have not tested it.

There is a tones and a drum kit file.
You can download from my shared area link below

https://tinyurl.com/ybf5ucga

or directly from their website.

Part 2:

I have also pulled most of the data from the Korg PA600 2.1 Manual and created a raw text file for machine transformation and real time processing.

I have not added the drum kit assignments in this yet.

Please feel free to download and use it anyway you like it, especially, if you are planning to do any MIDI automation (from DAW, Pads etc.).

Enjoy.
