I am willing to pay for the best sampled 'live' drum kits currently available for Pa4x...

I am finding that the drums for Pa4x do not sound at all like live drums when performing...I think this is one of the biggest draw-backs of using a Pa4x as a One Man Band at live performances....I especially find the snare, hi-hat and cymbals sound very fake and either really thin or fake.....

Please PM me with the details of where I can buy a good sampled live drum kit to load on directly (not wav files I have to muck around with)

Are you sure the problem is with the PA4X drum kits? In a studio setting i find them to be of very high quality... so could it be that playing live which requires a different approch from a home/studio environment could be the problem.. to set up a PA system with the PA4X or any other keyboard requires a completely different set of EQ and FX settings to sound good.... sending the drum kit out separately instead of the main outputs and through outputs 1&2 as a dry signal (-Fx) and dealing with them separately on a mixer with the help of some diffrent processing (i have been experimenting with a multiband compressor) certainly improves things but I'm sure there are other ways to help where other PA4X live performance User's can share any suggestions + A decent PA system with subs will be a good starting point...

I play at different sized venues with the settings kindly offered here, and also use Ketron and Yamaha boards. I find the Ketron Audya the best, with Pa4X a close second. I use a Bose Compact or a Spacestation v3.

I don't know what you really mean by "Live drums" if you mean "Real Drums" where I agree then check out WavesArt Studio Drums & Bass
