Hi I would like to sample an instrument to the Kronos, how to do it please? For instance, grab a sound from another keyboard or VST and save it in the Kronos.
All the the tutorials I have seen involve using a DAW, also I am reading the manuals (not having the easiest time on that). Thanks in advance. |

Extreme sample converter has a VST converter built in. Just convert to Soundfont and load straight to Kronos. _________________ Current Arsenal:

You don't need a VST or another computer to sample a acoustic sound or an instrument, because Kronos is a fully functional sampler. You will use the audio in ports of Kronos, but you'll have to setup the Kronos first. I strongly recommend reading the sampler sections of the User Manual and the Reference Manual. _________________ Korg KronosX73, Kurzweil PC3K6, Roland V-Synth GT, Kawai K5000S, Waldorf Blofeld, Novation Ultranova, Behringer Neutron, Yamaha HS80M, Boss Micro BR80, Zoom H6, Sony PCM D100, Tascam DP32SD, Mackie 1202VLZ4, Zoom MS-70CDR, Rode NT1, Sony MDR 7506. |
