Hi
To date I have not installed the latest o s v210. I am working on the theory of "if it aint broke don't fix it". However, just interested to hear if anyone has actually installed it and has it been worth doing. Does it have any hidden advantages?
Look forward to hearing any opinions on this. 😊
Many thanks Rob

Hi Rob

All we know is what is covered in the 2.1 release notes.
Bug fixes are included but if you are not experiencing any problems then your personal statement is sound.

However, it is always wise to get up-to-date IMHO but of course you don't have to rush if all is going well.

My Pa4 last gig 2 times give no signal to the mixer - after restart works OK.

I of course can not be sure this is because of OS 2.1.0 - but this was first gig with new OS. I try what happend next gig...

Thanks Pete, good advice, The-Boss 81 please don't apologize for bad English. Your English is far far better than my non
existent Polish or German. Your experiences with the PA4x is invaluable.
Many thanks to you both
Rob

I have met this problem last year with my PA4X, especially when I was playing in mono for some times! Either restarting or OS reinstalling did something until I put it in stereo!!

Regards,
Dimitris

Help me !!!

If this occurs frequently , try to disable Maxx Audio module (Off) !
It's "buggy" since Pa3X ...

By me this only happend after use fade out.

One gig before it happend once - I realised before was used fade out - last gig not use fade out - and this problem not happend.

At home tested - if it comes after use fade out - just press once again fade to make fade in and you must not restart.

Korg is of course working on it - Paolo one more time thanks a lot for the support Smile

I will not use fade before next OS update and hope there are no more problems with my Pa4X.

BR - Krzysztof

Hello,

one more bug? I think some files (midi) plays with less volume than should... after touch the seq slider it become some more dB.

It is of course not the left or right position of the slider - if the slider is in the midle, after touch (stil in the middle) becomes more (normal) volume. Only some files, and I think was with OS 2.0 and before not.

Thanks a lot, br - Krzysztof.

Try taking one of these MIDIs and remove its volume Control Change events - usually one at least at the beginning of each track.

Cheers
