I thought I had a handle on my file organization, but have recently run into some problems that perhaps I can elicit some advice from you all. I've been storing all the Programs I'm using for all the Combinations I've created in U-GG and all my HD Programs in U-AA, with my overflow now going into U-CC.. My Combinations are stored in U-G. Anytime I load any new Programs, they are directed to U-G with HD's going into U-EE or U-FF. Any new downloaded Combis into U-E, so I know why that bank is only with those.Due to some unmindful actions, Program banks I-D,E and F are now all initialized, as well as U-A thru F. My question is how can I safely reload all the factory sounds without losing all the Programs and Combis as well as my Setlists after I finish doing that?
Besides doing a Save All, is there any other Save I need to do so I don't lose my KSC's that I've done in Global? I want to make sure that I don't make any stupid mistakes undergoing this process.
Thanks! |

First doing a Save PCG is all that is needed. Save All is ok, but not necessary because your KSC's are safe.
Next, I assume Preload.KSC is still in your Global Auto-Load list. So, to reload all factory combis/programs, load Preload.PCG. Your personal combis/programs should be safe in U-G, U-EE, U-FF since Preload.PCG do not use those. |
