On the Kross 2, is there any way to use the 16 pads to select which timbre is active in a combi, or which track in a song? Even just to navigate among these things while editing? |

You make you own combi, and save it, then save it to the favourites and a specific button.
There are 4x 16 Korg set Favourites and 4x 16 user assignable.
Each user designed Combi has whatever instrument voices/splits etc that you want with the volume of each also being individually set.
Look at Korg Video Manuals for the Kross 2 on Youtube _________________ Biggles

I know you can save Combis as Favorites... and it's even better than what you say there...all 8 banks of 16 favorites are actually user assignable! But I was wondering about being able to alternatively use those pad/buttons to select timbres inside a Combi (or song), as you can on a Microstation. It was really part of a broader comparison that I probably should have posted about in the first place. |
