|
|
I have the Kronos 2, using a DS1H damper pedal and the XVP20 expression pedal. I am also trying to use it with a Roland A-800 Pro midi controller. This seems to only work via midi cable although I use the USB connection to power the Roland. The problem I have is I can't seem to send damper pedal or expression pedal messages to the timbres sent via midi channel 2 to the Roland. Korg said it can be done via KARMA, and although this is true, it also meant the timbres assigned to the Roland started sounding on the main Kronos keyboard as well. Does anyone know of another way, or is it not possible?
Is anybody else using a A-800 pro as a 2nd keyboard, and if so are you having any problems with it? Cheers |

Go to the second TAB in Karma called "MIDI filter CC offset".
There you can select what Karma will pass thru to the new channel. I select "Damper", "other CC", and "GE notes". GE notes determines if the Kronos keyboard will play the "other" MIDI channel your controller is playing.
GE notes selected prevents the K kybd from playing.
GE notes un-selected allows both the controller and the K kybd to play.
