Hello guy's!
Can you help me to find sounds for metal/progressive/rock style music. Try to explain more closer to my wish.
When i was owner of Korg Trinity pro i could quiqly find a good sounds in (i supose, but forgot) "S" bank where was placed a lot of distorted, agressive, hybrid or some times glitches sounds.
In my new Kronos and in this forum people create only ambient, any pads - soft sounds, world instruments, strings, horns and e.t.c...Kronos have very few sounds with a powerful character
So, can you advise a good place where i can find it?
I created a few exaples for easy to understand me:)

I recently joined a progressive metal band and we just released a CD:
https://www.seventhofneverband.com/
While most of the song samples don't contain a lot of keys, the songs do in fact include some decent synth solos and other prominent keys parts.
I joined the project a bit late and was kind of finding my place. I took some lessons from to get some pointers for the next CD.Derek Sherinian and he gave me some great tips. If you have the time and some money I would recommend reaching out to him.
That said, I find the Kronos leads in a metal context can benefit greatly from either a real guitar amp or simulator. I may be buying an amp, but for now, I have an old Line6 POD that I've ben experimenting with. I use Aux out 1 into the POD back into Input 1. That way, within the FX routing, I can almost include the POD amp model like an IFX even for specific parts in a combi. Makes all the difference in the world. _________________

Yes, such routing is possible, an interesting idea, thanks! However, at the moment i'm interested for the "native" sounds of Kronos (i mean, ready-made presets).
Thanks again for the answer!
P.s. i listened your music - excellent sound, arranger and I like music direction like your _________________ Korg KRONOS 2 - 88, Studio one, Cubase, VSTs, Live perfomance

The Kronos is capable of something reasonably close to each of those sounds.
For example, use the search function in Programs for "Pure Nitro Rock Star". |

Hmm. When I browse the stock lead synth patches, I find a ton of them that sound like Jordan Rudess / Dream Theater. Those aren't aggressive enough for you? |

Yeah, thanks....sound good, but i meant that Kronos have very few sounds "from the box". As i said above, when i was owner of the Korg Trinity it had more digital sounds than Kronos. For now i want to find/collect them in my own library.
Thanks again. _________________ Korg KRONOS 2 - 88, Studio one, Cubase, VSTs, Live perfomance

In Programs mode, use the search function (magnifying glass icon on screen) and search for lead. This is less likely to give useful results in Combi mode because, although some of the Combis use lead sounds, the word "lead" is not likely have been included in the Combi name.
Also, there's the category search near the top of the screen; tap where the Program category is shown and a list window opens up with category tabs on the side. It is possible to select e.g. E Guiitar, or Synth, and then look through the list.
And thirdly, there's the Voice Name List (VNL), downloadable from the Korg website, which can be searched through using the PDF reader search function. Note that there are different versions of the VNL, dependent on the Kronos version, and the lists given in those documents refer to the factory preload state.
