Hi

I've been doing some volume-level automation on a vocal track, and for no apparent reason the track (in the editing window) is now saying that the track ends after just 12 measues, even though the track is actually playing all the way through in the mixer window. Could anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Sounds like you are in SEQ mode.

try going to Track edit and fix your song measure length.

Thanks for your reply. I've checked the song measure length and that's fine.
Its 100 measures, but in the track edit audio automation window it's still reading as if the song ends after 12 measures -- so I can't do any automation on that track beyond that point.

When you are in the TRIM window, for instance, it is possible to set the end point, before the end, thus shortening the duration of wave file. It's most likely something to do with your region edit.

Thanks Greg -- I tried copying the song to a new location, but that didn't solve the problem.

I then went into the region edit and trimmed a bit off the last wav file segment (in the composite) corresponding to the last measure in the automation window (measure 12) but that hasn't worked either. Is this what you were suggesting Mike?
