Hello,

I wondered if anyone there had try to connect an external display to the VGA connector or, better, on the HDMI port of the Kronos motherboard ? Does it work ?

Yes Greg but in 2012, it wasn't the same motherboard as in the Kronos 2.
So my question is still the same !

ok, so you are hopeful the k2 Atom has more VGA(or HDMI] and mouse controls.

FWIW I haven't heard of such enhancements or anyone finding them

Looks like this when you hook up your monitor to the motherboard.
Not useful at all unless you're debugging things.
A bunch of Linux / BIOS stuff.

It won’t work as the Kronos uses a USB-based framebuffer housed in an ARM processor for graphics and touch screen control. You’d have to modify the frame buffer driver whilst also circumventing the software integrity verification performed at boot in order to get it to work.

I've picked up an old AKAI S6000 recently and even having such a tiny screen in a portable format is pretty handy.

Would be nice to connect a small Touch Screen USB monitor to the KRONOS.

Sharp.
