Getting intermittent dropping of signal in one channel. Wiggle of cable solves problem but not cool during shows. Wondering if I should attempt to replace the entire jack board or if I can just change out the jacks themselves. Also- any product/model info for the above parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance![/img] |

Cleaning the jack contacts (socket and plug) with a switch cleaner may remedy the situation. Check also that it's not the cable from the plug that has gone intermittent.
Something like Servisol 10, or its Deoxit equivalent. Spray some onto the plug then insert into the jack and twist and wiggle the plug around, withdraw and wipe with tissue to remove the residue, then repeat several times more.
