|
|
Hi everyone,
I have found our Kronos has a buzzing sound coming from the output.
At first we would only play with headphones or a small amp, so did not notice the sound.
We took the Kronos to a studio, and the engineer said there is a sound coming from the output. They went through the usual steps of trying different leads and different amps and the sound was there even straight to the desk.
The Kronos is still under warranty, so we have taken it back to the store.
The store wanted to diagnose the issue, and said to me yesterday that they have tested it and there does not seem to be any strange sound.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so, what was done?
Also, there seems a problem with the software because most steps we try to follow ( particularly saving a file and playing it back) seems different on our Kronos compared to the user guide video.. Is there some kind of reset needed for the software?
Thanks in advance for any input.. |

Can be lots of things. If the unit wasn't doing it at the shop, I would start with simple things like checking the power (electricity) where the noise/hum appears. Could be a ground loop, a faulty electric circuit (inverted neutral/hot or white/black wires), a noisy UPS nearby, neon lights or other noisy appliances near the unit, etc. |
