Hello,

Something seems bizare :

I've bought a sound bank that needs more than 1.9 Gb. So a Virtual Memory loading is required.
When I want to load KSC file, the "Load Method" parameter is shaded, so it is impossible to choose it.

However, when using Auto-Load method, in Global Mode, it is possible to choose the "Virtual Memory" parameter.

Do you know why this difference ?

Thanks

Hi Liviou2004,

If you are talking about loading in disk mode, any non _UserBank KSC is loaded as multisamples (MSs) to edit in sampling mode. Therefore, you can not have the option to use virtual memory (VM), since it presumes you want to work on the MSs to save in sampling mode.

Still in disk mode, on the other hand any _UserBank KSC file will give you options for load method since it is a KSC with references simply pointing to sample data - in other words, since you can then not edit the referenced MSs, you have the choice. Same applies in global mode for auto-load, it doesn't involve editing in sampling mode, so you have load method choices. Hope this helps.
