Hi group !
I have just had my Kronos 1 64 shipped from the UK to Thailand and I am getting "System startup failed".
I realise that this is likely due to an internal connection (RAM, cables) after being in transit and I am capable of performing a 're-seating' process.
I was wondering if any members know of a Korg dealership in Thailand ? Also … our house does not have grounded electric sockets (ie no earth). Could this be a factor ? _________________ Kind regards,

One thing to consider is humidity. Was the keyboard allowed to warm up fully before powering on. The other possibility is rough handling in transit may have caused an internal disconnection somewhere. Even packages marked "Fragile" are not guaranteed a smooth passage through the global transportation networks. It only takes one sloppy freight handler.

Unlikely, but I've had this error and it ended up being a bad power supply cable. Swapped cables and it worked fine. Maybe try that before sending to a tech. Like I said, unlikely, given your circumstances though. |
