Curious if anyone had tried the Korg D1-88. Rh3 board I don't know if it does release velocity which would be required because I like it. My thought is at under 700$ for the rh3 88 keybed it might very well be a perfect addition to an X61 Kronos so I could have the best of both worlds synth action and Piano. Any thoughts?

I don't know, but I notice that the full manual is available for download at Korg. Have you tried checking it out? Here is a link to the page - https://www.korg.com/tmp/support/download/index.php/manual/0/781/3818/?country=us&page=manual&prodtype=0&prodid=781&fileid=3818

I've tried it in a shop. I was on the point to order a Kronos 2 88 but in the shop they had only the 61 in the showroom and the keybed was very important for me. So the guy let me try the keybed of a D1 to feel the touch of a Kronos 2 88. They have both RH3, so it's exactly the same key's action. In the D1 manual, they say you can change the velocity, dynamics... so the answer should be yes.
