Hi All
Why is it that recently I am finding that many instruments in my song book entries are out of tune and need to be tuned in the mixer tuning menu. They are almost always flat. Is this to be expected over time? Embarassing when it catches you unaware during a performance........
Any feedback would be valued........thanks |

Samples have fixed tuning so its not the samples. The problem must be something else.
Check that you haven't inadvertently saved Song or Style Global tuning at anything other than zero (Menu, Mixer Tuning, Tuning - Upper 1 should be zero while usually Upper 2 and 3 are slightly miss-tuned by +1 and -1.)
Could also be your joystick is not returning to the centre position. _________________ Free SoundFonts: https://sites.google.com/site/soundfonts4u/

Hi Reuben
Many thanks for your reply. I have tried what you suggest but have discovered that the issue gets resolved when I adjust the pitch bend settings to 0. And also bring the retune control to 0. So I am left wondering if there may be an issue with the joystick.....especially as I note that the PB settings for many instruments default to either 1 or 2. Should I have the instrument looked at by a technician? |
