Hi,

I've been searching for an guide on how to do a complete overhaul on my Kronos for a sale. How to get it back to factory settings?

You have to have the original Factory file and that means an original that has not been altered.
You can get it off of the DVD restoration discs that come with kronos when new.

Best thing you can have is the 3 DVD restoration discs. If you want to have it ready for sale.
Even if kronos has Hardware damage anywhere, physical damage can be fixed and negotiated into the price, but the restoration DVD discs are the long term life line to the hardware even if in premium condition.

You go to Global mode “Auto load” page and remove everything from Auto load and add only the original unaltered factory file.. It is that simple.
From that point on, everytime Kronos boots up, it will boot up in factory state.

Any non factory content will remain in disk mode and it is up to you if you want to go to disk mode and delete all non original factory files.
It would be nice if you had any custom stuff that you left for the buyer to decide if she liked it enough to keep it for later use.
But if it is stuff like wave files with incriminating soundbytes of crimes or lewd acts being commited by..... then maybe best to delete.

Disk mode is where the real work would be unless you never accumulated files there. Disk mode Utility page lets you select files and delete them.
Just be sure not to delete original factory files.
Best way to be sure you have non-altered factory files is to get it off of the restoration disk. Put the disc in the computer, then go through the files and copy the factory file. Then use USB to transfer it to Kronos disk mode storage.

3rd party sound sets and their authorization codes?
Do you have any installed? Maybe best to let those remain in disk mode and autoload if you have them installed.
It can help your sale be more enticing to a buyer.
