Help please ...has anyone perfected the iconic Polymoog Vox Humana voice as favoured by Gary Numan on the Prologue 16 ...my attempts have been reasonable but I cannot it right...any guidance would be appreciated

I was able to get a pretty good approximation by using the mono chorus effect and setting up a vibrato with the LFO. Have the speed of the chorus half the speed of the LFO vibrato. Set your attack at 9 o' clock and your release a little past noon. Key Tracking is your friend - then set the cuttoff down to where the upper keys aren't too piercing and the lower keys aren't too muddy. Resonance to taste. Set 1 VCO one octave up from 2 VCO. Turn on multitibral mode and dial the sub patch in the same way, but detune the oscillators a little from the ones on your main patch. I've gotten a very polymoog-esque tone that way.

I made this sound very quickly during a break in work today. It isn't an exact thing but it is in the ballpark getting drunk already. Enjoy.
Oh yea, it uses the Duo mode so watch your note count.

Thank you for the replies and help.

I had tried evolving the onboard Humana factory patch using the effects section to beef up the LFO. The Triphase Chorus and Ensemble effects helped.

This article from emusician was useful.
