|
|
I hardly ever use the editor, but I occasionally think it might help for sound programming.
For the second time, I've started the editor, watch while it says rendering and synchronizing, and then discover that the Kronos has been completely overwritten with years-old data from the last time I started the Editor.
Luckily I have a backup so I only lost a few hours work.
The computer has time/date stamps, the Kronos also has a clock with time/date. How can such a total failure to synchronize even happen?
Is there any way I can configure the editor to never overwrite my Kronos? _________________ Kronos2 73, Presonus StudioLive, Cakewalk / Sonar Platinum, Windows 10 |

In the editor preferences under Misc, turn Auto reload session off.
Make sure to always import (KRONOS transfer tab) the current data from your Kronos in the editor before starting anything. This can take a few minutes.
Also, remember that whatever you do in the editor will not be saved in your Kronos unless you specifically send it afterwards (again via the transfer tab). |
