Well I decided to open up my K2 61 for the first time today. BTW it’s just over three years old. No gigs scheduled for a few weeks, just in case something goes wrong. I was concerned after reading some posts about loose screws on circuit boards so I thought I would take a look. I did find three tiny screws that I tightened slightly, but decided not to use any ‘lock tight’ type stuff. I saw the battery and thought, well while it’s open, why not replace it. It is a CR2032 if you want to plan ahead. It’s not a big deal to do this job. You will get a message when you power up that reminds you to ‘go to disk mode to reset time’ (or something like that). Remove 32 screws from the bottom and remove the metal bottom. As mentioned in other posts, use caution and protect the joysticks. I just thought I would share my experience with you. Cheers 🎶 _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |
