Really loving the Pa1000 but on rare occasion when playing a B3 organ & soloing ala Jimmy Smith (LOL)for a bit, an organ note will 'out of nowhere', begin to drone on forever even after I release the damper pedal and lift my fingers off the keys. Curious what's triggering this? perhaps using damper pedal is cause as I realize traditional B3's don't have sustain pedals right? That said, on the Pa1000, I'm able to and enjoy being able to use the sustain pedal with it's organ sounds. I wondering though if this might be creating the problem (albeit rarely). Short of having to reboot the keyboard is there an all midi notes off (panic) button I can press to stop all sound?

Thanks.

Scott

A Korg quirk of the ages, Scott.

Press and hold SHIFT simultaneously and, while holding, press START/STOP.

Not a great solution but if you time it right, you can turn it into an intended 'break'. Smile

Giner,
Many thanks for coming to the rescue. Cool
I first tried (unsuccessfully) to find the answer in the 1065 page manual before asking here. I've only now finally spotted Korg nearly obscure mention of it on page 1041 of the PA1000 user manual which list all of the other Pa1000 shift shortcut functions as well. Worth a peek. Wink

Glad it worked out for you. I don't have a Pa1000 so wasn't sure if it would work, but it's been the quick fix since at least i30 days. Enjoy that Pa1000.

Giner, you still enjoying "my" PA3X? Did you teach it to speak Canadian? Smile
I also have a PA1000, and it is quite good, but not a 4X, which I still love more than any other arranger I've had.
Scottyee and I communicate a lot about the 1000 and I'm glad you were able to help with this, as I have been out of touch for a few days with Dr. appointments and other minor emergencies.

Hey, Don! Good to hear from you. Still hanging out with doctors, eh? Hope it's not too serious - you've had more than your share healthwise already.

Yup, the 3x is speaking Canajun, a variant of Cajun Smile, these days, and she's still slugging them out of the park for me. Just got to top up the antifreeze for the coming season. Smile

Good to see Scott in Korg country these days - I can see a man of his talents moving up to a 4x at some point. Anyhoo, keep on truckin', Don.

All the best, Giner.
