Hi, i just purchased a new korg krome 88 and have certain questions regarding the combi mode.
1. I set all 16 tones to Gch midi channel, but whem i did that the first tone irrespective of others being on mute or unmute seemed to cut-off in a polyphonic manner. Please suggest a solution for the same as ill be using the krome for live events.

2. Im not able to find the 'live' and 'studio' mode in the global mode as in kronos. I require this as during live shows in the combi mode if i unmute the second tone while sustaining the first tone, it abruptly comes on for the previous notes played while i intend the second note to play when i press the notes subsequent to unmuting the tone.

Try setting Exclusive Solo to Off (in the dropdown menu at top of screen, or use the shortcut key combination ENTER + 1 to toggle this parameter). This allows the Solo on multiple timbres to be selected at the same time.

Ill explain the scenario im facing.
I play the piano tone with sustain for two bars. At the end of the bar i leave the notes but they are still sustaining. I unmute the second timbre and it also sustains the same notes of the previous bar. However i want the second timber to be active only when i play the third bar and not sustain my notes of the second bar

I am looking for the mute mode that is available in the kronos which can be set to live which enables muted timbers to not use polyphony.

Sorry the suggestion didn't work. I wasn't in front of the keyboard at the time, so couldn't test the idea. It seemed to be worth trying.

I guess ill have to wait for korg to give a software update like the one it did for the kronos buy adding the live and studio mute feature to avoid popyphony. Nevertheless if anyone has suggestions to avoid volume surprises when we unmute a timbre please help.
