It might be better to post the looping question as a new topic, as it is likely to be lost in the "noise".
The Kronos does not have a function that allows loops to be created and added to during live play. It is possible to create looped patterns that can be allocated to specific keys using RPPR (Real time Pattern Play Recording), but these would have to be created before the performance itself.
For live looping, it would be necessary to use a dedicated looper, be it hardware-based, or in software. See e.g:

Thanks, this answers my question. I’ve seen the Qui Video yesterday and it’s exactly what I’m trying to do. I’ll try with Loopy HD on my iPad. |
