Hello everyone,
The sound of the Pa4x never fails to amaze me but its time I tried a few new things. I would like to play a song and get it to my computer in order to play it back and share with my family. How do I do this please? It is time I knew this but I don`t, I just keep on playing and playing.
If you could start me off with a few important basics then I could hopefully use it in conjunction with the manual to better understand. (and not mess up my Pa4x).
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks
Dylan

1) Use ‘Record’ and save the recording direct to a USB plugged into the PaX (p365 of User Manual, OS 2.2)

2) Copy file to PC

3) This step is optional > The MP3 recordings tend to be too quiet - you can fix this by normalising the file.

If use DAW software, you will know how to do this. If not, you can use a free program called mp3gain. See https://download.cnet.com/MP3Gain/3000-2169_4-10175552.html

4) Play file on PC

Phil

Many thanks Phil,

I have studied the manual pages you mentioned and also Korg video No 6, RECORDING. Learnt a lot like Quick Record and others as well as MP3.

The volume issue is interesting and I need to look into it more as you said. Now that I have started can`t wait to dig deeper into the Pa4x.

So thanks Phil,

Dylan
