can anyone explain how to create kmp samples like you are telling to a five-year-old? I did once using awave but I guess it is important to use layer because the velocity was always the same whether you play light or strong Laughing especially I want to convert samples from KONTAKT for my 4x but there are no pro-level videos that explain this issue.

With Pa4x it is not possible to directly create KMP-Samples, because KMP is the native multisample format, used by the Trinity and Triton series of workstations.

With Pa4x you can load samples in the formats KSF, AIFF and WAVE and you can import Sounds and Multisamples in the formats PCG, KMP and SF2. Pa4x uses KMP-files as base for the built-in soundeditor to create PCGs (soundprograms).

After recording, loading or importing samples, you can choose these samples to edit them with built-in sampletool - means changing sample length, loop start, forcing the use of zero-points, choosing original note, normalizing, cutting and trimming that samples etc.

This samples can be used to create multisamples. First step is assigning a sample to a zone of the multisample. A multisample has a minimum of one and a maximum of 127 zones. Each zone has some parameters (original note, level, pitch, name) you can set in a second step before you write this multisample. Writing a multisample automatically updates the file RAM.KMP of the internal memory of Pa4x.

There is no direct access to change (create) this KMP-File of Pa4x.
