Please help
I did the v2.1 update. With start up now v2.1 shows on screen. However I do not have the v2.1 added SONGBOOK entries. Only the previous SONGBOOK. What did I do wrong or is it hiding somewhere ?
I hope that I have explained things ok. Updated to v2.1 but have not got new SONGBOOK entries.
What should I do please. Important to me at the moment so thanks.

Did you perform the factory restore step after the update - it is explained in the update manual.

Pete,

I don’t remember doing the factory restore when I did the last OS update. Since then, I have added quite a few User Sounds and Styles, and everything is working fine.

If I do the restore now, is it going to impact my User stuff. (I am using DIRECT for my Songbook, so not really worried about that).

You can backup (either save all or full resource backup) your current set, perform a factory restore, save the new songbook as .set , load your normal set again and load the new songbook.set as direct...
If you wish you can use the free songbook management utility from korg to combine your old songbook with the new one...

Hi all
Just a quick thank you for your replies, helping me learn more. I love SONGBOOK and are happy with what I have since buying two years ago. But adding OSIMO Xmas Set looks like something that I could do.

How many new songs would this give me please ? Plus anything else.
