Hi guys,

Is there any way to set the pa4x up so I can adjust the attack of a sound while in style play or song play mode? Via sliders, ribbon etc?

Especially on a piano sound?

I use this a lot on my old keyboard to create haunting sounds on the fly while acompanying theatre, with a slow attack letting the sound ‘creep up on you’, and dialing the attack up tot fast for stinging accents.

A workaround could be to setup a keyboard set with two piano sounds on upper 1 and 2 with different attack settings. But ideally I would love to be able to manipulate just one piano sound to the excact attack that goes with the flow of the scene.

Anyone here know a way to set up the PA4X to do this?

Thanks for your time.

you can do this in realtime by pressing the menu button, then track controls on the screen and then the sound edit button.

It's not possible to assign the attack parameter to one of the faders, the cutoff and resonance of the upper sounds are already assigned to Assign B fader mode

Is possible using external midi control.
In midi in menu set which Sound on which channel, then match on controller assigned Midi Channel and set CC 73.
here is list all available CC on Korg Pa.
