I open template from pa3x on logic x and do some note style .I export to selection midi file
with format 0 ,I marker v1cv1 , when I import to the korg pa4x
with shift and execute (the initialize is on )
I get warning massage "read command failed"
I try only v1 and not work
I don't see any note on event edit

I edit the style elements in Logic on separate tracks assigned to separate midi channels.9-16. For saving it as a Midi 0 file: I select the regions/tracks(MidiCh 9-16) and merge them to one track by "Merge Regions per Tracks "command (select popup menu by ctrl-click) . Then I export that region as Midi file type 0 by Export > Selection as MIDI File after I have set my preferences : Preferences > General, click Project Handling, then select the “‘Export MIDI File…’ saves single MIDI Regions as Format 0” checkbox.
For fixing problms I use the event editor of Logic to check the Midi events of each track, and I check the events of the exported file with the App "Midikit".
I had a problem with the ordering and timing of events needed in the beginning. It has never happened after the last update to Logic.
You can also read more about exporting Midi in Logic here, but you should not need most of it.

make sure you explicitely join the channels to a single track first, then select that region and export it..
just in case.. _________________ ------------------------------------------------------

Yes.
I'm not a logic user yet, but someone had mentioned this before. Apparently, you need to merge before export or else it won't work. _________________ Sam
