Anybody with any ideas how to start a video clip to sync with Kronos sequence start?
For info, video clip is already time synced to Kronos sequence. Just need a way of starting both at exactly the same time.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Korg Oasys 76, Korg Kronos 2 61, Korg Wavestation EX, Roland Jupiter X, 2 x Roland A800 Pro, Yamaha SY77, MacBook Pro Retina 15-inch Core i7 2.7GHz 16GB / 768GB, MainStage 3, Cymatic uTrack24, Samson S Patch, U-PHORIA UMC404HD Audio interface, Yamaha MG16XU mixer |

I usually start one before the other. For instance, if I start the sequencer first, there will usually be an audio cue or background intro sound. When it reaches a certain cue, I press PLAY on the video.
If video starts first, it may have a color bar and then it goes into the black header, I may use that switch instant (from color to black) to press the Sequence Start switch. I may use a popup text, like a date, or something like"Saturn Productions Presents....," or an actual image edit to act as my Start marker.
Also, I may add one to four silent measures, at the start of the sequence, depending on how much time I want to give myself from pressing Start to getting to where I need to position myself for the presentation. If I need time to get to a podium, I'll add as many measures (time) as I need.
I'm not sure if that is what you are referring to, but I use visual or audio cues. I've also combined audio from the two. The video can have a supporting bell, click, ping, etc, and then the music comes in. As far as the audience is concerned, there is one audio source, but it can act as your cue. |

Cheers Mike, I was hoping to start the Kronos sequences and accompanying videos at exactly the same time so I can just concentrate on playing the Kronos etc live without having to worry about pressing another button to start the video sequence.
Band will be using click tracks from the Kronos to ensure we stay in time with the videos. I'm just wondering if there is a way to ensure the sequence and video can be started at the same time with only one button press.
