KORG XVP-20 volume expression pedal problem

Recently bought the KORG XVP-20 volume expression pedal / KS071 and it only has one expression pedal output which I think is a joke although it's lighter then the XVP-10, and then from what it looks like the expression does not work well with the PA4X, I tried calibrating and also different curves but nothing, the problem is a little hard to explain but the sounds sort of cuts out and is not smooth. I don't know if KORG is aware of this? maybe some kind of fix? Looks like I will be going back to my XVP-10 pedal although heavier, it never caused me any problems.
