I just purchased a Grandstage 88 which has been a demo unit for about a year. It sounds great and everything works fine except the knobs and sliders which have somewhat imprecise travel. Especially when cycling through patches via the variation knobs, the action does not inspire confidence and regularly stop between "clicks", which is really annoying. The GS seems built to a ridiculously high standard, so I suspect this is wear and tear from demoing on the sales floor. If someone who bought the GS new would care to comment on the "knob action" it would be great. At this point, I'm seriously considering returning the unit and going for a brand new instead. Thanks. |

Not being a Grandstage owner, I cannot comment specifically, but the knobs and sliders on several other pieces of Korg gear have no issues, even after 20 years, so this seems like one to return to the shop. |

Thanks voip! Playing without headphones, I've noticed several "clicky" keys as well. This one is going back. |
