Hi, I'm using the Korg Triton Studio with 96MB RAM. In a live performance I want to be able to switch between programs I've created and play them. Each of the programs will use a different multisample. So basically I want to be able switch between my sampled instruments live via Program bank changes. Straight forward right?
As far as I'm aware after reading the manual and this forum, I have to load in all samples or all of the KSCs or PCGs from HD into RAM at the beginning of the performance. Is that correct? I've tried loading in two KSCs and the second one always seems to overwrite the samples from the first one. In other words under this setup I'd have to load each individual program from HD into RAM at the beginning of each song. Surely this is not the case? I have a feeling I'm not understanding how to create the setup that I want. I'm not averse to having to load everything at the beginning of the performance- that's what I have to do with my Fantom X8...but in that I'm able to switch between all the patches once they all loaded in.
Please does anyone out there know if what I want to do is possible or not?
Cheers,
