|
|
Here's the deal, I own the Volca Keys, Volca Bass, Volca Beats, an SQ-1, a Microbrute, and an old MC303 and I want them to all run together and play nicely and am looking for your suggested setups. Each of these will run into effects pedals and then into my mixer. I have been running my SQ-1 and Microbrute together through the CV/Gate and have been enjoying it enough to keep it that way, but any advice/suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking to incorporate a BeatStep Pro into the mix for my Volcas if that's possible.
Thanks,
Justin |

I'd see how much I could do with MIDI, unless you're wedded to the idea of using their internal sequencers.
If you are, I think that the Volca sync will work on the keys/bass/beats/sq-1, but I'm not sure about the arturia and mc303. |

BSP running the Volcas will work great. I like the BSP over the Volca sequencers and have run a Vbeats off it quite successfully. You'll need a MIDI spiltter of some sort to do that though. You can then sync the SQ-1 off one of the Volcas.
Are you planning to use the MC-303 on it's sequencer? Also what were you considering using as your master clock? _________________ Stuff I'm using: Umm right now, well there's a Volca Drum, a Micro Freak, an ADX-1, a Pulse, a Blofeld, a UNO Drum, KeyStep/Beatstep Pro/Keystep Pro (one of each), a Circuit, a LiveTrak L-12 and this nonsense: The Brief-case as it was about a bit over a year ago (the the complete ridiculous GAS monster collection here)and here |
