|

Apologize if this is redundant. I have searched forum for the last 45 min and can't find an answer.
1. I have SETLIST mode setup with a different sequence in each slot.
2. Channel 16 of the sequencer is set to BTH to control an external MIDI Light Board
3. The light board changes scenes via MIDI Notes - not program changes
If I select a new SETLIST Slot live to move from song to song - it triggers a note send or something on channel 16 telling the light board to look for a new note - thus shutting off all the lights. The sequencer is stopped. I have not hit play. just moved to a new Setlist spot with a new sequence.
Questions -
1. Is this a sequencer issue?
2. Setlist issue
3. Can I tell each setlist to send MIDI commands upon selecting a slot?
Any advice on how to troubleshoot is greatly appreciated[/list] |

I would recommend determining what is being sent. You can use a computer with a MIDI monitor and see exactly what is being sent. Make sure ch16 is not the Global channel. (like it is on mine) Global sends out info all the time. You want any external sending channel to not be on the Global channel.
