Hello,
i just got the EK-50
one thing that makes me sad is the fact that all of the factory presets
are drown in reverb

and there is no global reverb/effects adjustments
you can turn the effect off but in that case, the volume of the sound goes up
in a strange manner

I hope that KORGl add global effects adjustments
or per patch adjustments, so when you save a preset
the effect ratio is saved along

You cannot adjust the effect amount, you can just turn on or off
or select other effects that seems unusuable

I only use reverb and some delay / chorus
the distortions and eq's are waste of time

but that is me
maybe somebody will find a use for them

Please fix this KORG !!!

Go to page 13 of the EK50 manual
you can adjust the effect send level, so you can dial how wet you want the sound to be.

Each keyboard set contains two effects (effect 1 and effect 2),
which change the sound and its impression depending on the
effects you select.

1. Press the SETTING/[EFFECT] button while holding down
the [SHIFT] button to display the settings screen for effect
1.
a. Press the CATEGORY button u to display the settings
screen for effect 2.
Press the CATEGORY buttons to switch between the effect 1
and effect 2 settings screens.

2. Select the effects using the dial.
“Default” indicates the optimum effect that is set for the
keyboard set by default.
3. Press the [SHIFT] button to return to the previous mode.

Setting the effect send level
Here you can adjust the send level for effects 1 and 2 that are
applied to the lower and upper 1–3 parts respectively. This will
change how the effect sounds.
Note: Depending on the type of effect, the change in sound
may not be too noticeable.

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 in “Selecting effects” to configure
effect 1 or 2.
2. Turn the dial while holding down the PART button to set
the effect send level.
a. To switch between effect 1 and 2, press the CATEGORY
button.
3. Press the [SHIFT] button to return to the previous mode
