for live performance: is it possible to use a drum track, play the attached program, then change to another program and keep the same drum track happening without any interruption of the drums?
Both drum track and KARMA stops when you switch to another patch, so the way you need to do this is to set up multiple PROGs inside a COMBI or SEQ and switch between those.
Mute / unmute on a per channel basis is one option.. Using the the vector joystick can help you switch between several patches all in one.
In a SEQ you can also program the PROG switching into the tracks, so they switch programs at the right time. You can also automate IFX so different programs run with different effects. _________________ Gear: Korg Kronos 2 73, Arturia Microbrute & MiniBrute 2, Moog Mother-32, Ibanez RG320DXFM Guitar, ESP Viper 254FM Bass, Blackstar HT-1

Yes, what Gunnar said. Go to Sequence mode. Put in the sounds and drum kit that you are using. (Remember, you can bring in a Drum program with all of its effects and KARMA settings by pressing ENTER + REC/WRITE.)
And, if you want to switch sounds while playing Audio Tracks, you can also go to SET LIST mode and load your Song into two tab slots. Same Song, but two slots. If you want to switch to a 3rd or 4th sound, add a slot for each.
At the bottom left of the Set List screen, select EDIT. At the top of the screen, you will see "TRACK." Simply select which sound you want, for each tab slot. You can press one, then the other, and have no interruption.

Sounds very complicated.
Gotta get your hands dirty at some point. You may find this video interesting, as it shows how to set something like that up. But it goes a step further with the KARMA settings. Since it is a video, you should be able to follow easy enough.
