| On my Korg Kronos 88 key, I am getting an error message that says system cannot start up due to a file system error. Please reinstall system software. |

There's a small pile of things that could be causing this error unfortunately. I'm sure you've searched this forum and found a few culprits and remedies. I'll ask the pre-req's:
1/ If you're comfy opening it up and it wouldn't void warranty; have you checked the seatings of all the connections? RAM, SATA cable from hard drive, etc.
2/ Are you using an Uninterrupted Power Supply? Also known as UPS? The Kronos is really susceptible to power fluctuations. I use one of these at home and a Furman power conditioner for live.
