You can't change the midi channel in the Electribe.
Basically every parts correspond to a midi channel...pad 1 midichannel 1, pad 2 midi channel 2 and so on.
Set the midi channel on the volca, to do it you have to switch on the volca by holding the power button and the memory button. The stel with the light is the midi channel and you can change it by pressing a step, once you're happy press Rec and it will remember all the time.
In the Electribe select Audio In mono after the Oscillator section so it will send only midi message and if you use the audio in you can apply filter, mod,IFX and MFX to your volca bass.
Note: use always the audio in osc even if you don't process the audio of the volca bass in the Electribe, if you have another osc it will send midi message to the Volca but also will it playt the Oscillator selected.
Of course you can combine this thing if you like to play the same note on the Volca Bass and Electribe.
Also make sure in the global parameters of the Electribe that the filter for midi message are disabled. |
